I can confidently say I found a great place to bring mine and my childrens vehicles there and know I will not be lied to or taken advantage of. I googled where is the nearest car inspection place and I couldn't be more thankful for google for helping me find this place. As soon as walked through the door ( eddy) was on the phone and immediately wrapped up his call to take care of a customer walking in. Went in to get an appointment for inspection and was able to go in the next day. They are fast are thorough! Customer service there is phenomenal! Eddy is kind, knowledgeable & HONEST. Thank you for providing great service.

Word of mouth is indeed the best way to market a business! As I sat in the waiting area of "Automotive Engineering Specialties" --- my conversation with Ted, touched many topics, yes-- this engaging gent highlighted the success ingredients of their family business: quality work by experienced professional staff, stakeholders on the premises, and fair prices. Sure, Ted is part of the Automotive Engineering Specialties "family" so maybe he may be a bit biased; nevertheless, I believe I was fortunate that Jiffy Lube recommended this place. The most difficult part for me was finding the "place" ---but, once inside the door and shaking hands with Eddy, the manager-- well, my mission to fix my daughter's windshield wiper problem was accomplished. Yes, my daughter and I are satisfied customers and we intend to "spread the good word." Feb. 19, 2026 Sitting in a lovely coffee shop in RI ....and the good times continue. Earlier, in the day, I brought my daughter's car to Automotive Engineering for a car inspection. I was greeted by the amiable Eddy and it was a distinct pleasure to engage in discourse with Eddy while the car was being "treated" by one of the top, veteran professionals. Thank

eddy (edward) and the other gentleman working there were excellent. both were professional, honest, genuinely kind. they handled my state emissions test efficiently. did exactly what they’re supposed to do, despite how cumbersome the process can be. you can tell they care about doing things the right way. treating people with respect. definitely recommend this shop. i’ll absolutely be coming back

I was referred to this shop by a family member after they had some work done here and were very happy with the service and price. I made an appointment for my car to get some work done on the exhaust and I also left ready to recommend them to anyone that needs a good mechanic. The price was fair and the work that needed to be done was explained in a way I could understand.
